What People are Saying!
I loved the first book in this series and how it explained how the ADHD brain works, specifically how a woman's brain works with ADHD. Understanding that makes coping with it a lot less overwhelming. I have now read this second book in the series and really wanted to share my thoughts, as I found it just as enlightening. It deals with focusing on the positive traits of ADHD and how to use them to your advantage.
My main experience with ADHD in the past was that a lot of people just want to "fix" all the symptoms of ADHD. I loved how this book actually explains how recognizing and understanding how you can use your unique "gifts" as a positive force in your life.
Recognizing those unique skills and embracing them, can be very empowering. Looking back, I can now see how having my brain think a million things at a time has benefitted me. I could foresee possible future outcomes at work that many would not think of. I could also see possible solutions to issues that most wouldn't have considered. I have always adapted well to chaotic situations and took on multiple roles at work.
I enjoyed this book so much as it has made me see the positive traits I bring instead of beating myself up over all the negative things I felt.

The Vibrant Mind really puts a positive twist on how we can view women with ADHD, which is a refreshing change from the way we are often viewed in society.
Reading this book helped me to see ADHD as a strength to fuel me forward, not hold me back. The real life examples found inside were inspiring and encouraging and my favorite part was the endless tools and suggestions to take and implement right away. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is curious about ADHD or how to see it as a super power in their life.
