People with it (ADHD) are far more likely to have difficulties with concentration, sitting still, or impulsive shopping than the general population. But their problems don’t end at a doctor’s office. Left untreated, it is as much an economic issue as it is a medical one, with the estimated costs to the Canadian economy ranging in the billions of dollars a year. Toronto Star
